The House System and its Objectives
Moon Light Public School, Sisauli infuses the child with the spirit of camaraderie, cohesion, and competitiveness. Each child from grade 2 onwards is initiated into the house system is placed in a House and is gradually introduced to the ethos of the institution.

Each house has a House Master and House Mistress to whom he/she may turn for assistance at any time. All students from class II and above are placed in the four houses and all activities academic, co-curricular, and intermural, are based on inter-house competitions
The house system was devised to promote team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school. Also, this enables the senior students of the school to provide care and direction to their junior schoolmates. The House System provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support. Aided by dedicated staff members, and house captains, it is a remarkable medium for enabling students of different ages to bond together and operate as a cohesive family. Houses are a common and successful way of building a superb school community and spirit. The Houses compete in different sporting, cultural, and academic competitions, and provide an excellent way to synergize pupils of different classes and ages, all of whom have a common goal and purpose.
Inter-House Poem Recitation
Feb. 07, 2023: An Inter-House Poem Recitation Competition was recently organized for the students of Classes II and III. The students recited beautiful poems on the topics of Air, Water, and Environment. The students came up with different poems and enjoyed the perfection of expression, confidence, emotions, rhythm, fluency, and music of words. The competition gave an opportunity for the students to come forward and recite on stage with confidence and exhibit their talents.
Inter-House Display Board Competition
Jan. 30, 2023: Recently, an Inter-House Display Board Competition was held to promote healthy competition and offer an opportunity for students to experiment in the fields such as Art, Music, and Dance. The students decorated the allotted soft boards with relevant content on the topic ‘My State My Pride – Delhi’ for Class IV and ‘World Human Rights Day’ for Class V to boost their creative expression.
Inter-House Card-Making Competition
Dec. 13, 2022: A blend of exceptional creativity and imagination was displayed by the students of Classes II and III during the “Greeting Card-Making Competition” held on 13 December 2022. The theme was “Christmas and New Year” and the students participated with great enthusiasm. The competition aimed at promoting creativity and self-expression. The First position was secured by Discipline House.
